A twitter user tweeted a post about a pandemonium yesterday at a market in Portharcourt, River State as angry youths throwaway a basin of “garri” sold by a woman.
It was alleged that they were upset with what they saw in the market as the lady was selling Garri for #1500 instead of the normal price of #500.
It was due to the lockdown issues by the government because of corona virus, which resulted in stocking of food stuffs by citizens to survive the period and consequently a hike in the price of various food items.
Is it fair?
